A LITTLE WESTPORT LIGHTNESS
 

Westport felt comfortable to me. I spent two days wandering through the town center, stopping for coffee and ice cream, looking in shops, and simply noticing the people and the little details around me.
 

The buildings were soft pastels, and there was a kind of feminine lightness to the place. It felt lively without being overwhelming.
 

I liked that. I wanted this piece to feel the same way.
 

A LITTLE BIT OF WHIMSY
 

I chose a soft pink wool inspired by the pastel colors I kept seeing throughout Westport.
 

And because I can't seem to leave Ireland without bringing the sheep along with me, three little sheep are embroidered around the outside. Their fleeces are made with tiny French knots, giving them just enough fuzzy texture to make them feel a little bit cheeky.
 

The piece is fully lined with soft cream fabric and has a reinforced structure that helps it hold its shape. A zipper keeps everything tucked safely inside.
 

It's the kind of little bag that can hold makeup, travel accessories, crochet notions, or whatever small things happen to come along for the day.
 

The leather Crochet by Natalie Lucille label sits on the outside, with the Wanderlust & Wool label tucked inside.
