Somewhere in the walled garden at Kylemore Abbey, everything was just beginning to bloom.
 

That soft pink became one of the colors I brought home with me.
 

For this little pouch, I wanted to do something different with it.
 

The crochet has the look of knit, giving the pouch a simple, almost delicate texture. Then I embroidered a tiny bouquet across the front.
 

Each flower is made with French knots — fuchsia, soft pink, and white — with little green threads gathering underneath like the stems of flowers held together in your hand.
 

It's a small detail, but it's my favorite part.
 

The white wristlet keeps it light and simple, and the zippered top makes it an easy little pouch for the things you want to keep close.
 

A little bit of Kylemore bloom, carried home and made by hand.
